Bengaluru: With the remaining hours for the new year of incandescent to start, the owner of the apartment and the welfare association of the residents confused on the rules issued by Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) on the celebration to deliver in 2022.
With the threat of the Big Omicron, BBMP has DJ Parties Forbid but allow small meetings in the apartment.
However, many apartment associations feel Bbmp can issue specific guidelines to organize new year parties and do not leave everything with the wisdom of the association.
“We support government decisions but some of us feel celebrations must be permitted in the apartment,” said Vikram Rai, Secretary, Bengaluru Apartment Federation.
Shantha Kumar, a member of Rajajinagar Rwa, said that strict rules during the celebration were a necessity with the increasing case.
“Senior citizens will be affected if the plague occurs and the recovery time is very slow.
But government regulations are not clear,” he added.
Dheeran Prakash Pai, a personal apartment secretary at JP Nagar, said the government should not give permission for a non-restricted celebration.
“If there is a meeting and someone tests positive, the BBMP will seal the entire apartment.
Why can’t the government unable to issue special rules?” PAI asked.
Vishnu Gattupalli, President of Trifecta Starlight Apartment, said it was important to maintain a new year celebration of a low key.
“The number of cases increased dramatically, and with the rupture of Omicron, it was important to follow the corresponding behavior of Covid to avoid the spread of the community,” he added.
However, the President Commissioner of the Bbmp Gaurav Gupta, said the apartment federation and Rwas were allowed to celebrate the opportunity after consulting among themselves.
“DJs are not permitted, but will be ideal if these groups follow the appropriate behavior of Covid,” he said.
