Bengaluru: Building an impressive advantage During the BJP in contested urban local agencies (ULB) elections in Karnataka, Congress won 498 of 1,184 wards in 58 urban bodies whose results were announced on Thursday.
BJP won 437, JD (s) 45 and independent 204 seats.
The poll was held on Monday for 58 Ulbs, 57 doctors and bypolls nine Ulb wards in Karnataka after being delayed by three years.
Most Ulbs have been thrown over the cracked verdict and JD (s) can play kingmaker in at least a dozen councils.
The voters have responded to the agenda to divide BJP.
