Corporator Abdul Latheef from Congress has transferred a proposal, looking for that the name of the MCC board is both Hamilton Circle or one of the nearest roads after Harekala Hajabba.

“HaraSala Hajabba, who was born from Kutyami Beary and Beefathima, has opened a school by selling oranges in the city of Mangaloru.
Although uneducated, Hajabba dreamed of building a school for his village, even when he brought a cabin of orange on his head -The child in his village that must remain illiterate.
He is the pride of Mangaluru, and therefore the road where he sells oranges must be named afterwards, “Latheef said at the council meeting.
Programand Shetty said that the proposal would be sent to the government, after being cleared by the Kota Planning Committee.
“The committee will continue to follow the government direction in 2009, to complete the process, before sending a proposal to the government.
The proposal will be published in the vernacular newspaper, and the suggestions and objections will later be invited from the public,” he added.
Hajabba has received Padma Shri in 2020, from President RAM Nath Kovind, in New Delhi on November 8.
