Bengaluru: Nine trains between Bengaluru and Mysuru were postponed after the empty freight train slipped on Friday near the Krishnadevaraya Halt train station in Attiguppe.
There were no victims or injuries reported.
SWR officials said four empty train wheels, which have lowered the train panels in Kengeri, slipped in the city of Nayandahalli-KSR Bengaluru at 3:10 a.m.
Of the nine pending trains, seven came from Mysuru to Bengaluru and two from Bengaluru to Mysuru.
Service is allowed only on one in two lines.
“The train ran from Nayandahalli against Bengaluru KSR experienced a small delay because they were operated through one line,” said an AWR official.
“The song has been checked and stated right.
The investigation has been ordered,” said an official.
