Bengaluru: Weaver Handloom Doddaballapura is 40 years old who is believed to have died after the fitting fight and cremated by his family for two weeks was truly killed in front of his 10-year-old son.
The man’s wife, mother-in-law’s girlfriend and wife was arrested on Monday, based on the boy’s eyewitness account.
Raghavendra’s death, a resident of Karenahalli, on December 27 was ratified as a severe epilepsy attack by his wife, Shylaja, 30.
His son recently revealed how his father really died.
Shylaja was assisted by his mother LakshmideVamma, 50, and Hanumantha’s girlfriend, 30, in eliminating Raghavendra, he revealed.
CCTV recordings from the handloom unit, which includes Raghavendra’s house, and detailed phone calls between Shylaja and Hanumantha strengthens eyewitness accounts.
Police said Hanumantha was hired in the Handloom and Shylaja unit working with a garment factory.
He met Hanumantha at his workplace and they began to cheat.
This causes clashes between Raghavendra and Shylaja.
He and Hanumantha allegedly hatched plans to kill him.
According to complaints submitted by the younger brother of Raghavendra Chandra Shekhar on January 7, Shylaja called him around 2.15 in the morning on December 27 and told him that Raghavendra suffered an injury after falling on the floor.
Shekhar and his father Nanjundappa rushed to the place and found him dead.
They pay attention to injury on his head.
Initially, Kin Raghavendra believed in Shylaja and did the last ritual.
But they suspected playing cheating and asked Shylaja’s son on December 29, who revealed a man present at his home on his father’s death day.
Shekhar rushed to Raghavendra’s house, verifying CCTV footage in the nearest building and watching a man wearing a pullover had entered the house at 10:45.
“My brother lives with his wife, his mother-in-law and two sons and daughters – in a rented house.
My brother-in-law is at his parents’ house in Andhra Pradesh when I verify CCTV’s footage and so I delay filing a police complaint,” Shekhar said to the police.
Nephew Shekhar, meanwhile, began to provide further details to his grandfather Nanjundappa.
According to the boy, he was sleeping and woke up in the middle of the decisive night after hearing a voice.
“My grandmother (mother) held my father’s feet and my mother sat on her back.
Other people hit my father with a rolling pin.
I asked them why they hit my father.
But the person hit me and threatened to kill me if I reported this to anyone , “said Putra Raghavendra to the police later.
Doddaballlala city police registered a murder case and destroyed evidence of the trio.
The police found blood stains on the wall on the scene, collecting the details of the recording of the suspects and CCTV recordings and arrested them.
