Mandya: Seer was arrested on Tuesday as the alleged statement demanded the demolition of the historic mosque in Srirangapatna on the stripes of the Babi Mosque and the construction of a Hanuman temple there, police said.
According to the police, Rishi Kumar headed for Mathematics in Chikkamagaluru was arrested and taken to Srirangapatna on Tuesday.
Rishi Kumar has visited Srirangapatna with respect to the last ritual of children’s artists, who have died in an accident on the road a few days ago, they added.
Standing in front of the mosque, which is managed by an Indian archaeological survey, he said this structure must also be destroyed like the Babri Mosque, the police said.
