Chandigarh: Within a few days after seeking the department’s action against his own colleague on the issue of the construction of the temple in Sanda, IG Y Puran Kumar has now asked the Secretary of the Head Haryana to ‘audit more than 150 places of worship in Haryana police sites throughout the state.
Armed with RTI query, Kumar, in his communication to the Head of Secretary, looking for regularization of places of worship.
At the same time, he has been seeking local audits when we audit from the Comtroller team and Indian auditor.
Kumar had written to the Comroller General to form a team to have a complete audit of these places.
While demanding a regular audit, Kumar described his TIFF with DGP Manoj Yadava suspected of initiating the Department’s investigation against Kumar to visit the temple at the Traffic Police Station in Ambala District in the district.
“Let the DGP send a proposal to the Haryana government to regulate the construction of worship places that illegally appear at the location of the police unit.
Second, these places of worship also accept financial contributions, therefore there is a possibility of cash or transactions, then the audit is needed to bring transparency and To increase the source of income too, “said the letter.
Can be recalled that last year, Kumar has a TIFF with DGP Manoj Yadava.
After serviced notice, Kumar initially moved the police complaint and then approached Punjab and Haryana High Court.
In the latest developments, he had been seeking action against Commissioner Faridabad Police Vikas Arora because of his alleged involvement in raising a temple on the police line SiSa during SP.
