Bengaluru: A group of seven college friends has planned this unique celebration of Valentine’s Day – riding a bicycle means only for friends.
One group member, Tenzin, said: “It has been a tradition since our lecture.
All my other friends are single and we always spend Valentine’s Day together riding the suburbs and spending the night with a bowling game.
We started to defeat the pressure Pantaya.
“Many young people in the city are increasingly spending February 14 with friends, family, and loved ones, not only to make a point but also to rebel against the peer pressure to establish relationships.
Kavya (name changed) said it would be a ‘galentine day’ for him with one friend, watching a movie and ordered from a curated menu for a destroyed heart by City CafĂ© – Araku.
“He is very special that I did not leave him alone that day.
Even though I saw someone, I would spend a day with my friend,” Kavya said.
For Ayesha Pasha, who worked at MNC, celebrating that day made a statement that love and happiness did not always mean having a romantic partner.
“Every place has offers today.
Why not use them with your friends and family?” He said.
Ashwini Jaisim, the founder of Singles Club, India, told Stoi he arranged the ‘Single Day’ on February 13 where 40 members would go to the suburbs for a wine tour, lunch, and games.
“I combined Valentine’s Day and Singles Awareness Day (February 15).
Peer pressure on singles around Valentine’s Day is unfair.
More than pressure to find someone, singles worry about how to live the day,” he said.
Jaisim said that Single celebrating love on Valentine’s Day was a welcome change.
“Single looks for happiness in themselves and their friends,” he said, adding that this shows there is a shift towards reception singledom and divorce, at least in cities.
Restaurants and cafes that do their part, Araku Cafe has introduced ‘The Valentine’s Day Survival Kit’ – a four-meal eating menu available only on February 14.
Made by Chef Rahul Sharma, the plate is named with a twist – the sandwich is ‘for when Aunt said, “Uou’re next” at the wedding of your cousin and potato potatoes is’ …
When you ghost after you ask them, “What is that ? ” Chef Vikas Seth, a culinary director, Embassy Leisure (Sanchez, Sriracha and Hopshaus), said: “We have done more neutral celebrations by introducing and inserting yellow, symbolizing friendship, in food and decoration.” According to Zonu Reddy, Partner, Spago Foods, Magnolia Bakery India, for some time now, Valentine’s Day has not been restricted to celebrate someone’s partner or partner.
“Many people send valentine’s items and make special plans with their friends.
That’s why our launch for Valentine’s Day is planned in a more inclusive way.” Uru Brewpark at JP Nagar has also held a celebration, from February 14-18, which is not only for humans but also for their pets.
