Guwahati: People returned sadly from the Covid Vaccination Center (CVCS) throughout the state because there was a lack of acute doses.
The daily vaccination number has dropped dramatically from three Lakh leaders at the beginning of the inoculation drive on June 21 to around 30,000 now.
On Wednesday, vaccination remained suspended at around 83% of 2,000 CVCs which was established above Assam to drive mega vaccination.
The big crowd was seen on CVCS and the first day of the trip last month saw more than three lakh people get Jab.
A few days later there was a pause and slowly 50% of the center that managed the vaccine closed.
On Wednesday afternoon, the CVC number closed down to 83%.
Kalpana Sahani, who is the mother of three children and residents of the Mathharean region in the capital city, is feared about her family’s health.
He has been disappointed from the CVC forest area since Saturday.
Both vaccinators and managing session sites have answers to their anxieties.
“My husband and I haven’t received the first dose.
I went around this afternoon but my neighbor told me that the stock for the day was finished,” Kalpana said to Ti.
Sanath, her husband, won’t be able to go to work unless he is vaccinated.
Sanath, who works under a contractor, drives an oil tanker to the Guwahati refinery.
“My husband was broken on his legs a few days ago.
He recovered now and may not be able to go to the vaccination center,” Kalpana said.
The health department source said on Wednesday the remaining shares were used.
“We are waiting for a new consignment.
About 6,000 people are vaccinated until noon with previous shares,” said an immunization official.
While the number of vaccinations fell to 32,160 in the state on Tuesday, reduced inoculation figures had been worried that people in rural areas were also a lot behind the urban recipient in an inoculation drive.
