Power cuts increase the political voltage in Punjab

Chandigarh: Led by State President Bhagwant Mann, the leader of the AAM AADMI Party (AAP) faced a water cannon and was detained by the police because they held a protest outside the Minister of Amarinder Singh on Saturday on the issue of power outages in the state.
AAP leaders and workers tried to Gherao Agricultural House and were sued by the police, using water cannons on them.
Many of them managed to break through the police barricade.
Mann, opposition leader (LOP) Harpal Singh Cheema and other AAP office carriers were sent to various police stations.
According to Mohali police, 23 people were ordered by name, besides 200 unidentified people, by Mohali police on the protest.
