MySuru: a new interface for co-win cellular applications, which will provide special features of Karnataka, will be launched in MySuru City with a pilot base next week.
Officials said the ‘Co-Win Kar’ application will be launched in “3-4 vaccination centers” in the city.
The new application has several advantages, but its biggest feature is an automatic slot order.
This will ensure that the recipient’s potential does not need to look for a vaccine slot.
This application will also help officials plan drives based on the availability of doses.
Mysuru has given the most covid-19 dose in Karnataka after BBMP.
Until Tuesday, 14.3 doses of lakh were given in the district.
The government chose to try the application in MySuru by considering the success of the district in planning drives.
The application will eventually be launched throughout the state.

KH Prasad, Mysuru District Health Officer, said: “We plan to use a new application at 3-4 vaccination centers, including Charaaka Hospital.” Dr.
L Ravi, MySuru District Vaccination officer, said this application was a “improvised version of the existing Co-Win application”.
Authorities say the biggest advantage of the new application is that someone does not need to worry about getting a one-time registers slot.
This application removes the slot based on the availability of vaccine doses.
Seniority users will be considered while allocating slots.
“This application will allow local officials to plan vaccination camps based on age groups, priority groups, timings etc., based on local situations,” said Dr.
