Bengaluru: Karnataka on Monday reported 1,291 new Covid-19 cases and 40 deaths, took the number of infections to 28.85,238 and the toll road became 36,197.
The day also saw 3,015 release, continuing to exceed the number of new cases, taking the total number of recovery in the state as far as 28.21,491.
Of the 1,291 new cases reported on Monday, 266 came from Bengaluru Urban, because the city saw 1,202 release and only six deaths.
The total number of active cases reached 27,527.
While the level of participation is 0.94 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) is 3.09 percent.
Six of 40 deaths were Bengaluru Urban, while Dakshina Kannada, Hassan and Mysuru each had four, Belagvi and Kodagu Three, followed by others.
Among new regencies reported, Bengaluru Urban contributed 266, Dakshina Kannada 126, Hassan and Mysuru 125, Chikkamagaluru 100, followed by others.
Bengaluru Urban District topped the list of positive cases, with a total of 12,22,455, followed by Mysuru 1.71.275 and tumaku 1:17,000.
Among the release also, Bengaluru Urban was above with 11,95,843, followed by Mysuru 1,66,988 and Tumaku 4,14,576.
Cumulatively totaling 3,70,19,681 samples were tested in a state so far, where 1,35,974 on their own Monday.
