Jorhat: Seven high-tech cameras have been installed along the animal corridors on the national highway 37 in Kaziranga National Park and Tiger reserves on Tuesday to control the speed of the vehicle and monitor animal movements that cross the highway.

Director Shivakumar told TII that high-tech cameras had been established on the highway by park authorities with the help of the State Forestry Department.
“We have established seven cameras along the animal corridor on the NH-37 to record the speed of the vehicle and monitor animal movements that cross the highway.
This camera is automatic and has been arranged each in Kohora and the Burapahar forest range and one in the range of bagori forests.
Two Other cameras have established in the Bokakhat area, “Shivakumar said.
During the rainy season, around 80-90 percent of the garden area sank by flood water every year.
