MySuru: MySuru District has recorded 125 mucormycosis cases and 18 fatalities so far, according to data on war space.
Officials said that cases of fungal infections have fallen after the decline in the Covid-19 incident.
“There is no fresh reception at the hospital on Thursday and Friday,” said Dr.
Nanjaraj CP, Dean and Director of the Mysore Medical College and Research Institute.
Two operations are carried out on Saturday.
“To ensure that infection (mukormycosis) does not spread further, surgery is carried out in many patients,” he said.
At present, there are 30 active cases, according to the Deputy Commissioner of Bagi Gautham.

“Registered recipients will get detailed vaccination 24 hours before via SMS.
