Cendana Bid Farewell Tears for Veteran Actors and Friends, Jayanthi
Veteran Jayanthi’s actor died on Monday morning at his home in Bengaluru.
He was 76 and survived by a son.
Born Kamala Kumari in Ballari on January 6, 1945, he made his debut with Jenu Goudu in 1963.
Drector of Jenu Goudu Yr Swamy, gave him the name Jayanthi.
It is known by film critics as Abhinaya sharade, Jayanthi has acted in more than 500 films in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
