Bengaluru: One person was reddown on Monday while carrying out Kannada’s film near high voltage wire in Ramanagara district, police said.
Director and several others have been detained because they were questioned in connection with the incident, they said.
Vivek took action for the film ‘Love You Rachchu’ and stood on a crane near the 11-KV electric wire in Joganapalya Village in the district.
Somehow the metal wire came into contact with the wire and he was electrocuted, said the police, added he rushed to Rajarajeshwari Medical College and the hospital in Bengaluru where the doctors claimed he died.
In 2016, two actors who took action sank after jumping from the helicopter when photographing the film ‘Mastigudi’ at TipGagondanahalli on the outskirts of the city.
