Bengaluru: The government’s order to initiate acceptance in a new format prescribed by the National Education Policy (NEP) has caused confusion among private universities, many of which have completed acceptance.
According to NEP, which came into force since the academic year of 2021-22, students who aspire to the title must choose two subjects as disciplinary core.
At the beginning of the third year the course, they could choose one subject as a major and the other as a minor, or both as the main subject.
In addition, they need to choose Kannada and one language again as a language subject.
Students need to choose open and disciplined options according to the curriculum structure.
Students can get a maximum of 40% of the expected credit through official online courses and they also have options from several exits.
Minister of Higher Education CN Ashwath Narayan has announced on Monday that acceptance will begin in college from August 23 through a new platform – Unified Unified Management System (UUCMS).
However, most universities without help have completed their reception in the old format, until the old course.
College said implementing a new format will now produce absolute chaos.
“It is impossible for us to return more than 1,000 students and ask them to apply all more through the new system.
The government did things in a hurry.
They should notify us before that changes will take effect since the coming year,” said the head Schools from a college affiliated with the University of Benglaela University.
“We have started receiving calls from students who are looking for clarity.
Both administrative and faculty staff or school principals cannot answer their questions.
We do not accept round from the university about the new format of the course.
It will be chaotic,” said the secretary of the other colleges in South Bangalore .
“Where is the syllabus for the first year? The teacher must be trained for it.
PU students should be told about the new pattern of the course,” said a lecturer from the University of Maharani Cluster.
The government said private universities must be blamed for completing reception before the order was removed.
“…
our instructions are clear.
Acceptance must begin on August 23 through a new portal.
Universities who have completed clear receipts have violated the rules,” said Pradeep P, Commissioner for Collegiate education.
“The affiliate process is still ongoing.
We have extended the date to apply for affiliates until August 31,” said Lingarnaju Gandhi, VC from the University of Bengaluru.
“No college can start reception before the university approves their affiliates, intake, or courses.
We have warned universities many times.
Those who have completed receipts have done it illegally.
We still don’t know the acceptance module.”
