Chandigarh: Haryana on Wednesday showed a small decrease in the level of peposititivity because the country reported 8,847 new cases, 12 deaths and 6,768 recovery.
Today’s peposititivity level is at 19.99%.
Karnal reported the highest six deaths, followed by two deaths in Gurgaon, and one death of each of the Sonipat, Ambala, Yamunanagar and Kurukshetra.
The state mortality rate was recorded at 1.16% and the recovery rate declined to 92.04%.
The total number of Covid from the country is now at 8,73,337, where 8.03.834 has recovered, 10,136 has died and 59,344 is in treatment.
From active cases, 1,636 were hospitalized, while the rest was in house isolation.
Gurgaon reported the highest 2,918 cases, followed by 1,285 in Faridabad, 649 in Sonipat, 593 in Ambala, 452 in Panchkula, 437 in Hisar, 321 in Rohtak, 242 in Yamunanagar, 195 in Kurukshetra, 182 in JHJJAR, 178 in Panipat, 157 on SANSA, 149 in Kaital, 128 in Bhiwani and 122 in Jind.
The five remaining districts reported less than 50 cases.
However, there were no cases of new Omicron variants reported.
Of the 1,19,870 doses of the day, 45,014 got their first dose, while 67,774 people got their second dose.
