Chandigarh: Minister of Power Haryana Ranjit Singh Chautala on Wednesday launched first of all ‘Demand for Side-AC management schemes’ for domestic consumers of urban and rural areas to promote energy conservation.
Under this scheme, AC 1.05 lakh will be available with discounts of up to 59% of the minimum retail price (MRP) to States, which they are interested in will be valid until August 24, 2021.
The minister said that the department of strength was tied with three companies Famous, including Deccan, Blue Star and Voltage, which will provide ACS Split electricity cost savings with a capacity of 1.5 tons at a low cost.
Domestic consumers can also buy air conditioners in the long rewards.
While on the one hand these companies will provide discounts to buy new and replace the old air conditioning, on the other hand the Haryana government will also provide subsidies on ACS.
To take advantage of this scheme, people who are interested can register by visiting the Electric Department’s web portal https://acreplacementscheme.uhbvn.org.in.
The Minister of Power said that the state government has made provisions to provide more subsidies to rural consumers than urban regional consumers in this scheme.
Below, subsidies of RS 2,000 will be given to buying new AC in urban areas and Rs 4,000 on replacing AC long.
Likewise, in rural areas, RS.4000 subsidies will be given to buy new AC and Rs.8,000 on old AC replacement.
Apart from this, consumers will also get savings in electricity bills because of the new ACS power saving capacity.
By installing a new ACS that saves this energy, the 657 power units will be stored compared to old star AC and there will be an annual savings of up to RS 5,000.
Along with this, the compressor will get a warranty of up to 10 years and all other equipment up to one year.
Under this scheme, all the responsibility for free AC in consumer houses will be the official dealer.
