MySuru: Panchayath Development Officer (PDO) was arrested by red hand while receiving cash from a complainant in his office in Kotanka on Thursday.
Mandya ACB Deputy Supervisor of Police M Dharmendra, who holds an additional cost in Mysuru, said that following complaints from the villagers of Niluvagilu, Hunsur, that Tattekere Gram Panchayat PDO has demanded money for official work, traps placed.

PDO Sathish Kumar was caught immediately after receiving RS 5,000 from the complainant in his office at around 4:30 p.m.

The complainants have submitted a request for grants under the government scheme for the construction of warehouse livestock five months ago.
He sanctions RS 28,000 from the government.
To release this number, the official was allegedly demanding money on January 19, DYSP said.
