Agitating farmers tear BJP flags, flex boards in Hisar

Hisar: The farmers on Thursday staged a protest and tore BJP flex boards and flags near the party office on Sirsa Road where BJP state executive meeting was being held through both virtual and actual medium.
The police had barricaded the BJP office and the situation was being monitored by the deputy commissioner (DC) and the superintendent of police (SP).
The farmers claim that the administration had deployed the police at 11pm on Wednesday night and the farmers had even provided them with water.
After the announcement of BJP state executive, a meeting of the state-level executive was held on Thursday through both virtual and actual medium.
The meeting was organized in six districts of Haryana.
State media in-charge Sanjay Sharma and district in-charge Manish Grover presided over the meeting in Hisar.
The Sayunkt Kisan Morcha (SKM) had announced its opposition to the said BJP meets.
On Thursday morning, the farmers came towards the BJP office with black flags, from Kainchi Chowk situated at Sirsa-Hissar road, but the police had barricaded themselves there too.
During this, the farmers raised slogans and tore the flaxes and flags of BJP leaders displayed there.
After this the farmers came from inside Sector 14 but there too the police had barricaded.
Here too, the farmers demonstrated by raising slogans.
After this, the farmers tried to enter the BJP office from truck union office road located at Anaj Mandi, but here too the police had barricaded and the farmers demonstrated with black flags.
This demonstration of the farmers continued till 5 pm.
During this, as soon as a BJP leader came outside the office, the farmers would raise slogans against the government and the party.
SKM leader Shraddhanand said that the police force had been sitting at the BJP office since 11 pm on Wednesday night.
The farmers provided bread and even water to the police personnel.
The present government is misusing the police, he said.
In the meeting of Hisar, Rajya Sabha MP DP Vats, deputy speaker of the Assembly Ranbir Gangwa, Hisar district president Captain Bhupendra, Hisar MLA Kamal Gupta, Hansi MLA Vinod Bhayana, Hisar Mayor Gautam Sardana, Bhiwani district president Shankar Dhupar, Fatehabad district president Baldev Groha, Sirsa district president Aditya Chautala, state executive members Saroj Sihag, Sonali Phogat, district general secretary Praveen Popli and advocate Dharamveer Rateria were present.
Citizens at receiving end Due to the BJP meeting and the farmers’ protest, the citizens of Hisar also had to face a lot of trouble.
The police had diverted the route leading to Sirsa Road.
Due to this there was a traffic jam in the city throughout the day.
