Bengaluru / Mangaluru: With a case of Covid-19 daily and the level of prospective rises in the district bordering Kerala and Bengaluru Urban, Shivamogga, Kodagu and Chikkamagaluru, the state government sounded alarm and stated the red zone dakshina.
Cases see the upper spiral in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi District and calculation in all states up from 1.531 to 2,052 in just 24 hours.
While 396 new cases were reported in Dakshina Kannada on Thursday, there were 174 cases in Udupi.
Bengaluru Urban recorded a surge, with 505 cases, up from 376 days earlier.
