AMBALA: The Ambala police along with the excise and taxation department officials, even at a combined raid on Sunday night, broke an illegal liquor mill in Saha, next one this season. The authorities have detained three citizens in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. They’ve been recognized as Ankit of all Janakpuri Morna, Arvind of all Rahkada Bhopa village along with Ankur of all Behri Ratanpur village, that had been created from the district court on Tuesday. The court has delivered Ankit in right-wing authorities remand while Ankur and Arvind to judicial custody. Following the raid, the authorities had captured 115 boxes of illegal spirits, about 1,050 litre of ready spirits, empty tags, boxes, empty containers, figurines, holograms, flavour compounds, 10-kg caramel, along with lid sealing machines. The police had recovered 50 boxes of phenyl in the place. On the criticism of a police officer, a case has been filed against four accused men such as Ankit of Barara, Ambala district, Arvind, Ankur and Ankit (UP) below the IPC and the Excise Act in Saha police station on Monday. Ambala senior superintendent of police (SSP) Hamid Akhtar stated,”The Ambala police have broken three these prohibited units this season in Saha region. Efforts have been made to grab the prime accused that those involved might be detained.” Before, the Ambala police had broken an illegal liquor unit in Durana village March 10 and the other in Shyam Colony, Saha, on March 22, also had regained large amounts of liquor together with packaging and production stuff. Saha region has a lot of spirits manufacturing components.
