Raichur: Dalit Organization and Advocate Association protested in Karnataka on Thursday for alleged removal of the portrait of Dr.
Br Ambedkar from Dais during the Republican Day celebration in the District Court in Raichur, 400 km from Bengaluru.
Judge Malikarjuna Gowda said he did not cause disrespectful sense of personality.
The forum searched for actions against the protest judge which was followed that the district and school principal session Raichur Malikarjuna Gowda was reported to notify his subordinates to eliminate the Ambedkar portraits placed next to Mahatma Gandhi a few minutes before the celebration began on Wednesday.
“I don’t know why this wrong information about me was spreading.
Propaganda was wrong.
I asked people not to believe,” he added.
In a record released on Thursday, Gowda District Judge gave the story of the incident.
Some advocates approached him and demanded that the portrait of Ambedkar be placed next to Mahatma Gandhi in accordance with the government’s orders.
“I told them that the High Court Registrar General had told us on our leader group that the government’s order was before the bench (from the High Court) and he asked us to wait until the decision was made about this problem.
I asked us they did not force me (Put the Ambedkar statue), “he said.
“We then lifted the national flag.
I haven’t seen anyone who puts or removes the portrait of Ambedkar from Dais.
Hiding this fact, some people spread that I have made the removal of prerequisites for lifting the flag,” said district judge said, added that he had a lot of respect for Ambedkar.
The Dalit organization and the MySore Bar Association held protests in the Biasavavagi, Kalaburagi, Bidar, Mysore and other districts.
Advocate in Mysuru boycotted the court heeded the call from the bar.
In Raichur, the demonstrators blocked the deputy deputy commissioner of Raichur Duragesh Kr, asked him to direct the police to order a judge.
They blocked arterial roads in the city and burned tires in Ambedkar Circle.
BJP MLA and former Minister Shivanagouda rose to call “painful” incidents and seek actions from the High Court.
The Vice President of the State of SFI and Advocate Shivakumar Megamani Alleged Gowda District Judge refused to unfurle the flag, saying the protocol did not allow him to do it if the photo Ambedkar was stored in Dais.
