DIBRUGARH: A counterfeit physician, that has been serving as a medical officer in Hatiali Tea Estate at Dibrugarh district because 2017, was detained on Tuesday.
The fraud, also recognized as Eyaqub Ali, had stolen the identity of one Dr Eyaqub Ali Ahmed, an obstetrics and gynecology expert of JSB Civil Hospital, Kajalgaon at Chirang district.
According to an FIR lodged by Dr Ahmed in Chabua police channel, the bogus physician was detained from his native garden bungalow.
OC of all Chabua police channel Tulumoni Dowerah, that completed the stunt, stated,”Throughout analysis, we discovered that the accused had stolen the identity of a true physician currently employed in Chirang district.
For the last five decades, he’s been functioning as medical officer of Hatiali tea .”
