Jorthat: Excise Ministry Officer in Golaghat Regency Assam above has traveled a big trip after the administration found that the decline in illegal liquor was responsible for a rapid surge in Covid cases in the district.
Golaghat was declared total detention zone for the second consecutive time on Monday after being included in the list on July 7, 18 people were arrested by police and officials of excise majors for their involvement with the trade of liquor in Golaghat in a week.
Excise Ministry officials register 54 cases and confiscated a large number of liquor disblocked scientifically, fermented and refining deviations from several parts in the district in 29 separate operations in a week.
Excise Ministry officials in Golaghat, “In addition to Tea Gardens such as Bokolai, Rangajan and Hatikhuli, we have conducted operations in Narayanpur, Kalajan, Singfura, Barichowa, Da-Borahi, Jamuguri, Mochrong, Gomari, Borjan, Norakonwar Gaon, Purabangla, Murfuloni, Novonga Mising Gaon, Rongamati, Badulipar, Lokhoujan, Gelkek, Aamtenga, Diflepu Pothar, Tamuli Gaon, Notun Jurhotia, Nagajuri, Panjan, Jaya Pothar, Numaligarh and Kandulimari in the last seven days until Tuesday.
We have confiscated 30,300 liters of state liquor, 51,800 liters Foreign liquor, 14,580 liters of fermented washing and 465 liters of susu.
