Guwahati: BJP in Assam has linked a massive victory of NDA at Bypolls up to five seats assembly with government initiatives taken for the welfare of the community in the past six months after the Head of Minister of Himanta Biswas Sarma came to power in May.
The State President of BJP Bhabesh Kalita said, “The people’s mandates at Bypolls have again proved that BJP is a people’s party.
People have confidence in BJP and hence, extended support to BJP and its allies, liberal party Peoples (uppl) for the development of all-round.
Have seen development expectations only under the BJP government.
“He said the government had announced various welfare schemes, including the Ordati and Arundhati Gold scheme, for people’s welfare.
“From its efforts to make a drug-free country, the state government led by BJP stopped working for the development of the country,” he added.
BJP has been contested in the Mariani Constitution, Thowra and Bhabanipur while its allies, the United Party of Liberal Party, which is contested in the constituency of Gossiigaon and Tamulpur, which falls in the territorial area of Bodoland.
Kalita said voters Gossiigaon and Tamulpur have extended support to UPPL because they have understood that permanent peace in BTR is only possible under the BJP government.
