Guwahati: Minister of Finance First Women Assam Ajanta Neog on Friday Submit a Budget RS 566.20-Crore Deficit in assembly with a variety of brave initiatives such as financial assistance Rs 1 lakh to every family who have lost their members to Covid-19 and a smartphone for around eight classes Lakh Class IX and X government schools to bridge digital distribution created by pandemic.

Until July 13, 4,888 Covid deaths have been reported in Assam.

A number of Rs 144 Crore have been allocated for that purpose,” Neog said.

Under the scheme, the government will identify and choose all categories of people who are abandoned from the National Food Security Law, 2013 living in urban areas.
“We will provide free cooked food for all the groups in partnership with the famous voluntary community,” he added.
This budget also proposes a pipe water supply scheme to cover all 805 tea gardens in the state of the year.
This initiative will benefit more than 2,69,648 families.
“In time, we will also provide gas pipeline supplies to tea park households, starting with the assam district for the first,” Neog said.
The state government also proposes to form a agricultural commission under reputable international scientists to focus on problems related to agriculture, livestock and the milk sector in Assam.
He said the commission would learn and suggest steps to achieve self-sufficiency in agriculture, milk, eggs and pig production, identify constraints and develop roadmaps to achieve goals in five years.
The budget proposed to introduce cement use sorted sex for the benefit of dairy farmers.
This will control the birth of scrub bulls as 80 to 90% of all births will become female calves.
“The birth of women will help in meeting milk demand that continues to increase in the state,” Neog added.
