GUWAHATI: Four-time Congress MLA Rupjyoti Kurmi on Friday resigned in the Meeting membership amid Discussions of Going to BJP.
The youthful leader, that has been representing Mariani constituency at Assam’s Jorhat district following passing of his mother and former Congress minister Rupam Kurmi, filed his resignation to meeting speaker Biswajit Daimary.
He said he is quitting the Congress party since the top leadership doesn’t hear the voice of leaders and concentrated Rahul Gandhi because of this.
“The Congress completely dismisses its youthful leaders.
It has led the celebration in the nation to the verge of meltdown,” he explained.
