Guwahati: Durga Puja’s celebration ended with a peaceful and pleasant record on Friday in the city along with all states in the midst of the coronavius shadows for the second year in a row.
The festival was celebrated attentively after 18 months strict restrictions considering the Covid-19 situation in the state.
More than 300 Puja Committees in the city buried Dewi Durga idols in seven demonstrated immersion in the city – Kachamari, Pandu, Saukuchi, Chandrapur, Sonapur, Chandrapur and Azara – in the city where Kachamari and Pandu are the biggest.

All bars and liquor stores are still closed opposite the city on Friday.
Although this festival was celebrated, the lights and luxury were lost this time because of the restrictions of Covid and severe economic conditions after being beaten by two brutal waves of pandemics.
