Guwahati: After three months, the ban between districts can be withdrawn in Assam from this week.
Minister of Himanta’s minister Buswa Sarma said the new SOP would be published on Tuesday.
He added that although some relaxation is expected in new SOPs, reopening educational institutions to start offline classes may not be possible before September.
The Government Assam has banned the movement of vehicles between districts in mid-May, except for stated emergency services, when Covid Daily cases that grow take the second wave to the top with more than 6,000 cases per day.
