Guwahati: Assam Cabinet on Wednesday approved a new protocol for state government employees, limiting the Covid-19-19 leave period to seven days from positive testing days, except for those who needed a longer period of hospitalization.
The cabinet, which was held in Haflong in the district Dima, decided that there was no requirement to impose new restrictions on the movement of the people above and above existing because of the low rate of hospitalization – only 12 of every 100 hospital beds were occupied by Covid .
