Guwahati: With only two days to go for the Olympic medalist, the arrival of Lovlina Borghain, the excitement in his home village Baro Mukhia had reached a fever.
Lovlina, who will arrive in New Delhi on Monday, will fly to Guwahati on Wednesday.
He is likely to reach his village on Wednesday night after attending a major welcome in Guwahati by the Government and Indian Sports Authority, Guwahati and other stakeholders.
Golaghat District Administration monitors all preparations to be welcomed by Deputy Commissioner Mrigesh Narayan recently visited his home on Sunday where he met his parents.
The source of the Golaghat DC office said that the district government tended to facilitate his home.
