Guwahati: The opening plan to open elementary school on Tuesday is under the Department of Health Scanner because the covid participant in several districts has floated around 2% – the limit to stay open in a district.
The State Education Department in the previous order has notified that if the level of prospective runs above 2% on a certain day, DC from the district concerned, consultation with MD, the National Health Mission, will close the institution.
Sources in the Ministry of Health told TII on Monday that in accordance with the count of seven days (from 11 October 17), the level of participants had 2.30% in the Bukit District Dima Aso, while in four other districts was near the watch.
The Covid scenario in Dima Aso may not really reflected in the level of progress because only 913 tests were carried out during the period and 21 cases were tested positively.
“In Dima Asao, the level of prospective is always on the higher side because less tests because of the difficult field,” said the Ministry of Health source.

Physical class for the basic level (from class I to VIII) and class XI is scheduled to start again on Tuesday after the same thing was stopped towards the end of April because of the surge in Covid cases.
While the classrooms are being disanitized and the place is being cleaned by school authorities on Monday, the government will oversee the movement of around 50 lakh students registered in the basic classes in the state.
In connection with class I to VIII, the class will be held three days a week at first.
The Ministry of Education clarifies that the physical presence at school is optional and may not be more than 30 students in a section.
