Guwahati: Health Authority believes that widespread coverage of covid vaccination may have maintained the level of participation in Guwahati in examinations during the celebration of Puja Durga when the physical distance takes place.

He said that before Durga Puja, the government had pushed hard for vaccination and 1.97 crore people in the state were given the first dose, while 65 lakh 18 plus a fully vaccinated population.
“Vaccination encouragement has helped us examine the spread of the disease.
We hope the people involved in managing pujas are careful,” Lakshman added.
Previously, the Minister of Health of Keshab Keshab Mahanta said that at least one dose of covid vaccine would be required to enter the Puja Durga Pandal.
Directive implementation, intended for worshipers and organizers, is not possible because of the big footsteps in the pandal.
