Guwahati: Calling Gimmick Peace Karbi, Body Umbrella 24 Adat organizations on Sunday began protesting in Anglong carriage after the agreement was signed in Delhi on Saturday.
The organization demanded the minister of the house of Union Amit Shah to declare the Bukit District of Anglong, West Anglong carbi and Dima Hasao as a ‘autonomous state’ under the provision of Article 244 (a) constitution.
“The most important, the BJP government demands the implementation of the hidden article-244 (a) while resolving the agreement.
It was not even discussed.
So our protest on this main problem will continue,” said Abinash Ronghang, convention of the forum.
Organizational members took to the streets in DIFE, the headquarters of Anglong’s carriage, and shouted slogans to the agreement.
He said the peace agreement had also been ‘opening’ 10 chairs of the Anglong Carbi Autonomy Board (KAAC) to another category, which they said was not desirable.
“There is no seat booking point on the sixth schedule given the area like Kaac.
We know that all chairs here are for tribes,” Ronghang said.
“All constituencies in Kaac should be reserved for tribes who live in Anglong carriage.
Tactak, 10 seats have been taken from us, paving the way for other community representatives,” added Ronghang.
After signing an agreement, Chairman of the Minister of Himanta Bustwa Sarma said the number of members would rise to 50 in Kaac.
Sarma also said six of them will be nominated by the governor, while 44 will be elected.
“10 seats will open, while 34 will be provided for the scheduled tribe,” Sarma was maintained.
But his views conflict with the forum.
Sarma said at the Northeast Hill Board, the chair was not provided for STS.
He was a militant leader who was feared by Songbijit Ingti Kathar, and the others, who signed the agreement, given a new welcome at Guwahati airport on Sunday.
People’s artist carbi plays traditional musical instruments with welcome.
“One hundred percent peace will return to carriicch in Anglong.
We are happy and hoping for caricical problems will be resolved.
With a 1,000 crore RS package, various projects will be completed,” said Songbijit to media people on arrival.
He said it was completed in the pact that all militant clothing cadres who signed an agreement would be rehabilitated by the state and state government.
Songbijit praised the efforts of the Head of the Minister of Sarma in bringing them to the peace process.
Songbijit is the head of the Democratic Board of Peoples from Longri’s carbidl, armed militant clothing, who is looking for sovereignty for carbices.
Although the opposition from several local organizations, the body of the tribal apex country, all Sangha Assam Sangha (AAT) welcomed the agreement at the executive meeting on Sunday.
Aats Secretary General Aditya Khaklar, “bringing militant clothes for the peace process is landmark.
But the rapid implementation of promises is a must.
At the age of the 50’s itself, the carriicch of anglong was brought based on the sixth constitutional schedule but almost no welfare work.
Because the tribe was seen.
In the end militancy grew.
