Guwahati / Silchar: Schools and colleges are ready to welcome students today after four months with new hopes and complicated seating arrangements in several classrooms to check Covid-19 infection.
The number of students vaccinated, teachers and non-teaching staff has not been confirmed, but the State Health Department has clarified that except for those under 18 years, no one will be allowed to enter the campus without being inoculated with at least the first dose.
Covid-19 vaccine.
Educational institutions have prepared seating arrangements to ensure that at least 6 feet of physical distance is maintained in each classroom and outside, as directed by the Ministry of Education in the additional soup last week.
“We are worried about the health of students.
No more than 30 students are allowed to sit in the class.
The right sanitization has been done in most institutions,” said Minister of Education Ranoj Pegu on Sunday.
While the use of mandatory masks and cleaners must be ensured on campus, the temperature examination of all students and teachers has been ordered by the Ministry of Education every day through thermal playback while entering.
Hand washing facilities must be arranged in a leading location on campus.
Most importantly, students have been prohibited from sharing items such as textbooks, notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, tiffin boxes or bottled water.
For private educational institutions, the bus has been permitted to bring only one third of student capacity intake.
“It has been instructed that school buses must be disanitized twice a day,” said an official of the Ministry of Education.
Every time a positive case is detected, the nearest government health institution or circle officers from the income circle concerned must be contacted by educational institutions, read the SOP.
Although the Government Assam will be reopened schools and colleges for secondary students to a higher level, Assam University, Silchar, Central University, has not made decisions about the resumption of off-line classes.
“We have been thinking of reopening the University for undergraduate research about a week.
Scholars will also be allowed to live in a university hostel.
However, they must be fully immunized,” said University Assam Pradosh Kiran Nath told Tii.
After this, laboratory-based classes will begin.
AU will open a class in a gradual way.
Nath told that the authorities were not ready to deliver in the trouble rush to start the off-line class.
“We will ensure that all students get two Jabs first.
After that institutions will be open to post-graduation students,” he said.
At the University of Gahati too, students’ end students have not been called to attend class.
While campus sanitization is still on, the last semester examination through online mode is also the reason behind the delay, said a university official.
