Guwahati: The State Health Department launched many uniform steps for Covid management at a government hospital after 12 deaths in one day reported on Monday at the Medical Medical College Premier Hospital.

However, during his sudden visit to GMCH in Wee time on Tuesday, Manganta looked for details from the doctor on duty at night and then insisted on monitoring more senior doctors at night.
Manganta said that day shift and night shift would be monitored by a senior doctor.
He instructed that the aid desk was arranged to help officers at the hospital and Covid Hospital.
