Tinsukia: A teacher was reportedly forced to kneel and apologized before his students who protested the increase in costs in Philobari in Tinsukia Assam Regency which had led to the district administration to order the question of the level of magisterial level into it.

It reached a point where one of the teachers was allegedly forced by students to kneel to apologize to students for allegedly making a demeaning statement against the protest.
Tinsukia District Judge on Thursday ordered the executive judge of Doomdoma’s income circle to investigate the incident and submit a report within three days of order receipt.
The probe will find details of the people involved in the incident or have incited it, the command word.
Tinsukia inspector school will help in the investigation, he added.
Aasu was excluded from the organization of the Tinsukia District Vice President for alleged involvement in inciting anxious students to force the teacher to kneel and apologize.
The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee condemned the incident and said it was more surprising as happened before police personnel as can be seen in the video.
“Teachers are respected throughout the world and to force a teacher who has served schools for 27 years to kneel and apologize publicly is a dirty action of disrespect that cannot be forgiven,” Bobbeeta Sharma, Chair of the APCC Media Department said in a statement here on Friday.
“The Assam government when conducting an investigation must also bring to people who push and actively or secretly participate in surprising insults about a teacher Assam,” Sharma added.
Aasu representatives and students who have participated in protests then visited the teacher’s residence and apologized for the incident.
