Mumbai: German car maker, Audi India on Tuesday launched a luxury Audi Q5 SUV to the Indian market with a price label RS 58.93 Lakh (Former Showroom, India).
It is available in five color options, in two trim, plus premium, technology and offered in a single machine option, namely 2.0-liter TFSI gasoline engine which produces 249 hp power and 370nm torque.
Pre-ordering now open with the number of orders set at 2 lakh, customers can order in front of their car through online or dealer.
The new Q5 exterior has received several fine updates over the previous model, the front of the Audi Q5 comes with a single grille frame and an Octagon line, while the gril and blades have chrome ornaments, slippage plates, rails, and new fog lights get a silver accent.
This display is enhanced by alloy wheels 48.26 CMS (R19), cover shoulder lines, LED combination lights, panoramic sunroof, and aluminum roof rails.
5 Color Options Included • Navarra Blue • Ibis White • Mythos Black • Floret Silver • Manhattan Gray Interior and New 25.65 cm Interior Interior Features with the MIB3 Third Generation Modular Infotainment platform, also supports voice control, Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
Another spotlight is the Premium Sound B & O system with 19 speakers that produce 3D sound effects on 755 watts output.
Minimal cabin changes, interior coatings have been designed using the Atlas Beige and Okapi Brown Leatherette with inlays in the black finish piano, the front seat is electronically controlled with memory functions for drivers, this car also displays 3-zone-flying with wireless telephone chargers.
The engine and transmission of the Audi Q5 are powered by 2.0 liters of TFSI, four cylinders, turbo gasoline engines that can also be found in the Audi A6.
However, in Q5, a slightly set engine to produce 4 additional HP (249 hp & 370nm).
It is available with a dual-clutch 7-speed automatic transmission with the Audi All-Wheel-Drive-Drive Audi system coming as standard.
Prices and rivals Plus Premium Q5 Audi New are priced at ₹ 58,93,000 Lakh (Former Showroom) and Audi Technology Q5 ₹ 63.77,000 (ex-showroom).
It continues to compete with Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, Volvo XC60 and Land Rover Discovery Sport.
