Dibrugarh: In commemorating ‘Bharat Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrating 75 years of Indian progressive freedom and noble history of his people, culture and achievement, Oil India Limited (OIL) carried out a special initiative to develop a cluster weaving in Baghjan larger in Baghjan.
Tinsukia Regency area by forming and supporting 100 groups of shared liabilities.
Implemented by the State Institute of Pancrayat and Rural Development (CIPRD) under the Initiative of CSR Oil, Rupantar Project, 500 Women’s Weavers of Greater Baghjan Handloom will benefit from this initiative.
In this connection, the drive of consciousness was held on August 12 in Baghjan Me School among the beneficiaries of the project in front of Baghjan Navajyoti Mahila Samity members, who expanded support for this initiative.
After completing their housing training at the oil-CIPRD growth center in Duliajan, each of the 100 JLG will be given five weaving tools along with other weaving accessories, threads and rotary funds rs 10,000.00 with the total cost of RS 1.46 Crore projects.
