Chandigarh: Minister of Chief Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday announced to bring media personnel recognized and their families for coverage under the Ayushman Bharat scheme for health insurance purposes.
The Haryana government will benefit from health insurance facilities to media personnel equivalent to government employees.
During the meeting review of the Ayushman Bharat insurance scheme and other health insurance schemes, the minister’s head also gave green signals to employees and retirees to provide cash facilities to them under the health insurance scheme.

During the meeting, it was decided to provide benefits from cash insurance schemes in what patterns given to government employees to the Azad Hind Fauj fighters, people who were in prison during emergencies, people involved in the world movement and World War II detainees and their dependents.
