Mumbai: BCCI has appointed former Indian leg-spinner Sairaj Bahutule as coach of Bowling India ‘a’ team for the upcoming South African tour, according to sources.
Stalwart Saranhu Satathu Saurashtra Box is a head coach for a tour, while former Assam Cricketer Subhadeep Ghosh will be a field coach.
Bahutule, TOI has learned, has also been confirmed as Spin Bowling coach at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.
In addition to displaying in two tests and eight odi, the 48-year-old Milmaikar played as many as 188 first match, where he took 630 names at 26.00, and scored 6176 running at 31.83.
Post his retirement, he trained Vidarbha, Kerala, Bengal and was Gujarat coach for the past two seasons.
He also coach Spin Bowling from Rajasthan Royals, and in 2017, working with Australian young spinners at the center of Australia’s Cricket excellence in Brisbane.
