Bangalore: Road Brigade Ready After Rs 4.3 Crore-Facelift

Bengaluru: After seven months of work, the Road Brigade is now ready for public use.
The 320-meter stretch has been rebuilt by Bengaluru Smart City Limited (BSCL) under the tendersure project at a cost of Rs 4.3 Crore.
The work, which began in January, has left the sulking business community because they have not recovered from the losses they spent during the lip last year.
According to the Managing Director of BSCL P Rajendra Cholan, the work was taken after consulting business brotherhood.
Other officials said traders at the Road Brigade were initially unhappy with the project time but government officials managed to convince them.
Cholan said the kuncian during the second wave Covid-19 helped them complete work quickly.
The Road Brigade was chosen for rebuilding in 2015 when the Head of the Minister of Siddaramaiiah announced it.
The stretch of rebuilt now is a 7.5 meter wide lane and a width of 1.8 -3.2 meters wide.
The road has exclusive channels for OFC, rainwater and waste water.
In addition, 31 LED light poles have been installed.
Suhail Yusuf of the association of shops and companies Brigade said: “We hope that business will gradually get back up.
Brotherhood here has suffered a big loss because of locking.”
