Pouracumikas, Marshal, Contractors and Labor will work together for one day in Bengaluru
Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanaagara Pulike (BBMP) conducts spring cleaning in the rainy season.
The Civic body made preparations to hold an intensive cleaning training one day in the city.
This is to clean the rubble, garbage and waste materials that have been lying on public roads for a long time.
Such large-scale initiatives were being confirmed because of criticism after officials did not pay attention to complaints in inheritance waste (debris, garbage that had not been cleaned for a long time) stated that he came under the distribution of BBMP or other wards.
, Similar exercises were last carried out in November 2019.
Checked that senior official from BBMP held several meetings for the past two weeks to develop this training plan.
BBMP is interested in inciting Minister BS Yediyurappa for the flag of the event.
The date is not finished.
There are two reasons for this Mammoth practice – cleaning debris cannot be tendered because it is a small job; Two, construction debris, mostly disposed of in public places by private individuals, were not removed for centuries because the BBMP engineering department was not responsible for it.
“All our marshals, PourakaKikas, contractors and workers will be part of this cleaning practice where we plan to clean the debris and waste from all the ways.
We may need additional tipper to transport waste.
The whole exercise will not cost more than RS 60 lakh, “said a BBMP official.
What is being planned is intensive cleaning, which is far more than just regular exercise.
This is to make sure the waterways are not choking and the city looks cleaner.
This will not remain a one-time practice – Rakesh Singh, Head of the Additional Secretary at UDD & BBMP Administrator

Debris and rubbish continues to be seen in many places even though the contractor that collects them from the house should ensure that the ward does not have black spots according to tender conditions.
The BBMP also pays Rs 1 lakh per month per ward to involve mud service providers and tractors along with workers.
Apart from this, complaints at inheritance waste seen on the road are usually closed without paying attention.
But the residents say that cleaning exercises must be routine and not an activity once a year.
“When the contract is given to collecting waste and removing debris, does the need to hold such exercises?” Sneha nandihal said from me changing Indiranagar.
He also suggested collecting severe punishment in people who throw debris or garbage in public places.
,
Murali Govindarajulu, resident of Hagaduru, welcomed moving.
However, he felt that BBMP had to have enforcing officers in every ward.
“There are too many ward engineers on their plates.
They mainly focus on development work or check irregularities from sanctions plans in buildings,” he said.
“No one checks the vehicle loaded with construction debris,” he said.
He also hopes that cleaning training does not remain a one-time activity.
,
Rakesh Singh, an additional head secretary in the Urban Development Department and the BBMP administrator promised that cleaning exercises would be part of the protocol.
“What is planned is intensive cleaning, which is far more than regular exercise.
This is to make sure the waterways are not choking and the city looks cleaner.
It won’t keep going one time.
Residents also have to extend their support by not throwing debris in Public places, “he said.
