Bengaluru: Karnataka High Court on Thursday is called the BBMP Pothole Report “TOTAL SHAM” and indicates actions against the Civic Agency officer if they do not make coordinated efforts to prevent digging the way and fill the roads that dig in the city.
The court stated his dissatisfaction after BBMP submitted a compliance report that claimed that 1,314 km from the main road 1.344km Bengaluru and 12.04 km from 12,527km zonal road had been cleaned from the hole.
With this, advice for BBMP said, the majority of city roads have been repaired.
The bench that hears the 2015 petition on the condition of the city road is surprised and wants to know whether BBMP advice lives in the city of Bengaluru.
“Everyone who uses the road is aware of the quality.
We are not satisfied.
There is no obedience.
This (report) is truly false,” said the division bench led by the Chairman of the Rujian Judge Raj Awasthi, directed the BBMP engineer to emerge previously on February 7 .
The BBMP advisor said the population increased and often explored by several citizenship institutions had produced a bad road because they did not complete the task in the specified time.
The bench asked this advisor: “Why (do you (do) you allow them? Any pine who enrolled against them? What punishment applies? We will direct the pine registration to your officer.
We will not let you work this way.” The BBMP advisor said they followed the Guidelines and Standards of the Indian Street Congress.
Bench said in the order: “BBMP advice has not been able to satisfy what actions have been taken against institutions that are permitted to cut the road and have not completed work in the specified period.
Advice has not been able to show what procedures and technology are adopted to carry out the work of a hole repair .
It is very clear that after every rain, the road develops a hole.
“The bench said there was no indication of policy steps or coordination between BBMP and other civil institutions on the cutting of the road.
“We are not satisfied with the status report submitted by BBMP.
BBMP will notify (court) about the technology adopted for road repairs and whether it has involved experts or institutions outside.
Procedures adopted by BBMP,” Bench said.
The court heard pills submitted in 2015 where Vijayan Meni Applicants and others have been looking for directions about the actions taken by the BBMP to fill the hole and to provide a mechanism for bad citizens.
