BENGALURU: Three men with criminal backgrounds were arrested for peddling drugs and 800 grams of charas and 200 grams of ganja oil were seized.
The accused are Prashant Kumar alias Motte, 24, of Kalappa Block in Srirampura, John alias Kariya, 32, of Dayanadanagar, Srirampura and Sundar alias Kutti, 32, of Jalahalli.
Prashant was booked between 2016 and 2019 in four different cases, including for attempt to murder and drug peddling.
John faces six cases during the same period and Sundar’s records show he was into criminal activities since 2003 and faces over 27 cases.
“The three confessed saying they purchased the drugs from two men, Narayan and Harish, in April.
Harish is a fugitive, while Narayan has been in judicial custody in an attempt-to-murder case,” police said.
