BENGALURU: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike intends to administer at least a single dose of Covid vaccine to 12 lakh elderly people in the following two months of the month, carrying the total vaccination coverage from town from the current 33 lakh into 45 lakh.
“We mean to vaccinate almost a lakh people every day for the subsequent 14 days,” explained BBMP main commissioner Gaurav Gupta.
The town, together with 91 lakh mature people, is gearing up to additional easing of Covid curbs in July 1.
