Bengaluru: Racketeers Sextortion Online has found their mine in dating application users.
A private company accountant officially submitted a complaint with the Central Cens Police on August 18 who alleged that a gang induced himself to strip himself online and then tried to squeeze it by threatening viral video viral.

The victim of such a game plan, Sudham (Name changed), 29, a cubbonpet resident and accountant with a private company, told the police that he fell prey on an unknown online sextital gang on August 8.
He then received a message about WhatsApp containing his video where he was naked, along with the contact list.
The telephone details are illegal to be accessed by criminals.
They also sent videos to several relatives and friends.
The gang threatens the video it will be shared with all the contacts if he doesn’t pay it.
Sudham, however, did not fall in love with the Blackmailers plan and rushed to the police.
“We suspect that many victims will not advance to file complaints by fearing their reputation,” said a police officer.
The police have warned the public towards attending video calls from strangers and asked them not to install unknown cellular applications, especially those related to dating.
