BJP hits a trail campaign in Thowra bound poll

Dibrugarh: With the assembly Thowra By-Election is scheduled for almost a month again, the BJP has reached a footprint of the campaign, holding a meeting level meeting, across the assembly constituency.
Five assembly chairs in the state – Thowra, Mariani, Gossiigaon, Tamulpur and Bhabanipur – will go to poll on October 30.
Bypolls in Tamulpur and Gossiigaon assembly chairs are needed after the death of Mola sitting, the ruling Mariani, Mariani and Bhabanipur have resigned to join BJP in power.
Thowra Congress MLA Sushanta Borghain came out of the party on July 30, and joined BJP on 1.
Despite the name BJP candidate for Bypolls has not been officially announced until now submitting this report, the party leaders say it is almost certainly the new Borghain Join will be derived from the chair Thowra assembly.
On Sunday, two times MLA inaugurated the BJP Party office in Demow under the constituency of the Thowra assembly in the Sivasagar district.
This will function as headquarters for Thowra assembly with elections.
Hundreds of workers and party officials, including the Demow City Unit BJP President Plabita Gogoi recently, the Thowra Unit of President Amiyo Gogoi and Nitai Pani Unit DIING President Nabin Gogoi was present during the inauguration program.
On Saturday, Borghain along with several BJP leaders, including a former spokesman Thowra BJP MLA Kushal Dowari and BJP Subhash Dutta, discussed the gate-level meeting in Nemuguri Konwar Village, which was attended by hundreds of party workers and local communities.
Borghain also held a meeting with 145 president of the booth under Thowra’s constituency.
Likewise on October 1, BJP held a public meeting in Demow as part of a public outreach program at Bypolls in which the Minister of Finance Ajanta Neog, Jorhat MP Topon Kumar Gogoi and others.
